WE ARE GETTING  BETTER!

Hello All,
It's been a while since I have blogged. This lack of contact is due to having a shift in priorities.  When I started blogging it was to inform and educate my audience. This all started about a year ago. As some of you may   know I am a work from home Dad. I am an independent contractor. I help, those who are interested , create  alternate streams of income.I represent several companies in order to do so. I also have my own products and services as well. From the onset I felt that everyone could use what we had to offer. I felt that our business was just right for everyone. I felt our business had all the necessary ingredients to make anyone successful. It was simple , affordable and had a great pay plan. With excitement and enthusiasm I would share my business opportunity with hundreds and thousands of people. So over the last year of blogging, promoting and helping others what have I learned.  I have learned the following things:

1)Proper communication with the customers is a vital and key to being in business.take a look at this.
.

2)The word "Business" can actually drive people away from the very thing that you want to help them with.

3)Listen to learn and learn to listen to what people are really saying.

4)Customers  have the right answers all I need to do is ask the right questions.

5)Always remain teachable and be willing to help where you can..
Today is November 07,2012. It is the greatest day of my life ever. If you are reading this blog Thank You so very much! You have been  blessed and you are highly favored. You have started a process of perpetual change if you never quit or give up. If you need help with making your dreams come true, no matter what that dream is, give me a call or email me at tony.burse@gmail.com. Always remember this.As long as you never quit or never give up you can win. I would like to share a bit insight with you right now. The key to getting what you want out of life to "Win from within". What do I mean "win from within". What I mean is this. What is do you say to yourself  on a daily bases about living your dreams. Do you get discouraged easily? Do you fight through the emotions and find gratitude in what you are doing. Your self talk can mean the difference in winning and losing the battle that  you are facing. Do not feel you are alone. We are all  either going through a storm or coming out of a storm. We must persevere and get to the other side.  If we hang together we can all win. If we don't hang together we may surely hang separately. Here to serve and not to sell.

Thanks, You are an inspiration.

Last 3 months of 2012.
I hope the first nine months of 2012 has been great for you. As for myself this year has been quite enjoyable. In hindsight what were some of the things that made you feel a sense of accomplishment or success in 2012?

Did you get that big fat raise you were hoping for?
Did your kids or grand kids graduate from high school or college?
Did you retire 2012?
Are you looking forward to retirement for 2013?
Were you able to finish paying off your car?
The new diet that you started in January 2012 , did it work for you ?
Did  you make the last mortgage payment on the house this year?
Were you able to take a nice long vacation this year?
Did you register and go back to school in 2012.

With all the positives and negatives that have happened this year do you feel a sense of accomplishment? Whatever your disposition is or isn't  I pray that it gets better. If you did not get to achieve some of your goals in 2012 don't be discouraged. We are ALL in need in some kind improvement or Personal Growth and Development. The most successful Athletes, Actors, Personal Development Coaches, Life Coaches as well as Motivational Speakers need Coaching and Motivating themselves. On a recent webinar  I heard one the  greatest Motivational Speakers in the world, Mr Les Brown, say: "You're  Never Too Old to Learn and You're Never Too Young to Teach. A quote from Albert Einstein says that "Education Should Start at Birth and End at Death.

If you want to loose weight , you can. If you want to you go back to school and  get a degree, you can. If you want to start your own business, you can. If you want to stop smoking , you can. You and  I can do anything we want if we put our minds to it.  The problem some us may have is  that we may not know what we want. We may even know what we want but may not know how to get it. We have the ability to create the life and be the person we want to be. It really is up to us. Over the last ten years the internet and technology has really made it simple and affordable  to learn about almost anything. The only caveat with this entire process is this. Most people, but not all, use the internet for entertainment purposes only. We like to see funny You Tube videos or get downloads of the latest songs.Having fun on the internet is cool.  You know what's  more cool than You Tube videos and free downloads  is the fact that the internet can be a gold mind of opportunity. It's just a matter of choosing the right opportunity.

I am proud to say that I am part of the Baby Boom Generation(1946-1964).  At  this point in my life quality is more  important than  quantity. I have more days behind me than I do ahead of me. This realization has changed my point of view from thinking I have all the time in the world to thinking how very valuable time really is. I do my best to enjoy each day as if it were my last, because, one day it will  be. At my young age of 54 my line of  thinking is this. Happiness is my choice and it is my responsibility.  If  I want better for myself  I must want better for others. Think of it another way. If at the end of each day you had to hold a memorial service for yourself what would you have to say about yourself and what do you think others would have to say about you? I ask this question not to sadden the moment but to enlighten your spirit. Perhaps you may see some things about your self you would  like to change. Maybe you're happy with your life just the way it is. If you're happy  then congrats to you. If you aren't happy with the way your life is right now, it's never too late to make some changes. Start Today you don't have forever!!

When I turned 50 four years ago I started to realize that I am on my second half of life. My 50's , 60's, 70's or perhaps my 80's I will have very different concerns. I will have concerns like Life Insurance, A will, Health concerns, Retirement home and other concerns as well.  Will I out live my money? Will there be Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security?  Will the retirement age remain the same or will it continue to rise  like the cost of living? If I don't have enough money will I be able to live with my kids or other relatives. Kids in their 20's , 30's and even 40's may have to move  back home and live with Mommy and Daddy, due to our ever changing job market.
If  the before mentioned is in your original plan  you may want to consider getting a back up plan or two!

The last 90 days of 2012 is fast approaching. Did you do all the things you had promised yourself at the beginning of the year for 2012. If you put a list together with all your goals and accomplishments , what kind  of grade would  you  give yourself- A,B,C. D or F? If you feel you got all of your goals accomplished this year and are on target to complete 2012 with flying colors, congrats you ROCK. If you feel ,within the next 90 days (the rest 2012) you're not where you want to be with all your goals and accomplishments you may want to consider some training and support. This support is not to take away from your goals and ambitions but to support YOU  in accomplishing what you started this year in 2012.

The best of Luck the Rest of the way!!!

If Nothing changes , Nothing changes.Start with the one person you see every day. Start with the person that makes it all happen for you. Start with that handsome or gorgeous face you see in the mirror each day.
Stop asking and start taking!!!

The True Optimist?

Change Your Point of View.

"Two men look out through the same bars: One sees the mud, and one sees the stars."- Frederick Langbridge, A Cluster of Quiet Thoughts

If you’ve placed second in a writing contest, will you jump for joy and push for better results the next time or will you be discouraged and find an excuse not to join again?

In life, you are always filled with choices. You may opt to have a pessimist’s view and live a self-defeated life or you may decide to take the optimist’s route and take a challenging and fulfilling life.

So why nurture an optimist’s point of view? And why now?

Well, optimism has been linked to positive mood and good morale; to academic, athletic, military, occupational and political success; to popularity; to good health and even to long life and freedom from trauma.

On the other hand, the rates of depression and pessimism have never been higher. It affects middle-aged adults the same way it hits younger people. The mean age of onset has gone from 30 to 15. It is no longer a middle-aged housewife’s disorder but also a teen-ager’s disorder’ as well.

Here’s how optimists are in action and researches that back up why it really pays to be an optimist:

Optimists expect the best

The defining characteristic of pessimists is that they tend to believe bad events, which will last a long time and undermine everything they do, are their own fault.

The truth is optimists are confronted with the same hard knocks of this world. What differs is the way they explain their misfortune---it’s the opposite way. They tend to believe defeat is just a temporary setback, that its causes are confined to this one case.

Optimists tend to focus on and plan for the 'problem' at hand. They use 'positive reinterpretation.' In other words, they most likely reinterpret a negative experience in a way that helps them learn and grow. Such people are unfazed by bad situation, they perceive it is a challenge and try harder.

They won’t say “things will never get better,” “If I failed once, it will happen again” and “If I experience misfortune in one part of my life, then it will happen in my whole life.”

Positive expectancies of optimists also predict better reactions during transitions to new environments, sudden tragedies and unlikely turn of events. If they fall, they will stand up. They see opportunities instead of obstacles.

People respond positively to optimists

Optimists are proactive and less dependent on others for their happiness. They find no need to control or manipulate people. They usually draw people towards them. Their optimistic view of the world can be contagious and influence those they are with.

Optimism seems a socially desirable trait in all communities. Those who share optimism are generally accepted while those who spread gloom, panic and hysteria are treated unfavorably.

In life, these people often win elections; get voted most congenial and sought for advice.

When the going gets tough, optimists get tougher

Optimists typically maintain higher levels of subjective well-being during times of stress than do people who are less optimistic. In contrast, pessimists are likely to react to stressful events by denying that they exist or by avoiding dealing with problems. Pessimists are more likely to quit trying when difficulties arise.

They persevere. They just don’t give up easily, they are also known for their patience. Inching their way a step closer to that goal or elusive dream.

Optimists are healthier and live longer

Medical research has justified that simple pleasures and a positive outlook can cause a measurable increase in the body's ability to fight disease.

Optimists’ health is unusually good. They age well, much freer than most people from the usual physical ills of middle age. And they get to outlive those prone to negative thoughts.

So why not be an optimist today? And think positively towards a more fulfilled life.

Why not look forward to success in all your endeavors? Why not be resilient? Like everybody else you are bound to hit lows sometimes but don’t just stay there. Carry yourself out of the mud and improve your chances of getting back on the right track. And why not inspire others to remove their dark-colored glasses and see life in the bright side?

Which will it be today? A glass that's half full or one that is half empty? Either way it will be filled with something. The choice is yours. Do you like how you feel right now? Is your future looking bright? The only way to change it is to change your point of view. If you know of another way please leave your comment(s).

What will it take to change your point of view. For many of us it will almost take an act of God. Will it take your kid(s) walking over to you saying Mom/Dad I have done all the things expected of me. I have passed all the test, went to summer school, took out student loans , gave my best and now I can' find a job. Some will say go back to school and get another degree and maybe this time you'll get the position you deserve or not. What happens when are approaching retirement age and find that your income you had planned on having will not be enough to take care of you and your spouse , what then? What will it take to change your point of view? Are comfortable with being uncomfortable. Do you react to most adversity once you have experienced discomfort.

Thanks Tony Burse
